The foundation EDUNÁMICA was established in June 2001 in St. Gallen, Switzerland. In accordance with the Swiss law it is independent of both politics and the church.

The foundation's goal is the suppor-
ting of education- orientated and humanitarian initiatives and projects for children and youth, primarily in Costa Rica and then also in other Latin American countries.

Beneficiaries need not only be spe-
cific projects but also individuals in emergency situations.
